“SELF, THE FIRST THING YOU WILL DO TOMORROW IS WRITE.”
avatar

A habit just doesn’t happen, there are factors that leads up to a habit, unnoticed but it’s there.

A habit is doing one thing once. Over and over again.

Remember asking how I made writing my habit? You asked so you might be able to copy me and hopefully make writing your habit too.

Well the answer is very simple. But it takes commitment. I knew had to write if I wanted to write a blog. so I just told myself….

“Self, the first thing you will do tomorrow is write.”

I woke up and I wrote.

Just one small part, of a small idea, for an article, that’s what I wrote. A very small part, something that I felt could be done easily and quickly. Just one paragraph, or two. Just word put to an idea. Continue reading

Moments and Notes Of Brilliances

AT the most inconvenient time those great ideas comes, crossing a busy intersection, parking the car, chasing a run-away dog. This is why I carry a little note pad with me, whereever I go. Sure I get teased, insistently, at times even abusively. But hey, it’s my blog, and I am running it. I’m the one with lofty goals, not them. So I do what I got to do. If they knew, oh boy, I would be taking so much more teasing.  More times than I like to admit I can’t make a lick of sense from my own notes!   I can’t figure out why I was so inspired or even what inspired the note.  I know it was some sort of great idea, for what would be a great article.  I know it was like a lightning bolt hitting me top center of my head, I remember that. Otherwise I wouldn’t have made the note in the first place. But good golly,  if my cryptic notes were the password to open the safe at Fort Knots no one would ever get in.  Not even the workers. What do you do with your brilliant ideas for your blog articles?  I know you and others know exactly what I go through, I know that for a fact.   What I don’t know is how you deal with it.  Or if you have your own solutions. Next time brilliance strikes, and before you put your head on your pillow, re-read … Continue reading

(Pre) Challenge ~ Day 5

Day 5 of the Pre Challenge was about disclaimers. Ed explained that the only expenses for us this year is a domain and web hosting ** DO NOT go out a buy a domain yet- choosing a domain will be covered in the Challenge. ** Ed also explained the that programs like Market Samurai and other paid programs had to provide a free trial for Challenge participants that lasted throughout the Challenge. Those that choose to purchase the program or service that the Challenge will receive an affiliate commission from it- as well as from any domains or hosting purchased thru their links. He also noted that because this year’s Challenge is longer, they “would be doing a disservice to veteran Challengers” if they did not promote new products/ services that they thought would be useful and they will be CLEARLY marked as such. Ed said that this was for veteran Challengers and that newbies should just ignore them. Ed stated very clearly that he cannot guarantee that any person will make any amount of money, since he doesn’t know what market they will be choosing, and i will add if they will take the necessary actions. He stated that they have gotten many messages asking what the catch was, would they have to buy something, etc.and wanted to address this issue. It could also be a “covering their ass” in staying compliant w/ the new FCC regulations that state that anyone who receives monetary gain from a product or … Continue reading

Today is just a blur of email, forums and group messages hitting my inbox. I am so busy trying to keep up I wonder if I will ever make it through the first month. Frustration, fear and all of those emotions of doing something new can weigh down on your emotions if you let it. Here is to all of the excitement of #tc10 the year of break through for me and for you. Just remember to keep everything in a slow and steady pace, forget overwhelm and sail on at your own pace. 30 minutes a day you see and within 90 days you will experience victory!
